Prints for Purchase and
The fastest, simplest, and most economical way to purchase prints is to go to JimDoty.Zenfolio.com. Prices start at $25 per print. Pick a photo, click on the shopping cart, pick a print size, and use your credit card to order the print. Matting and framing options are also available during the check out process, saving you the time of going to a frame shop. Turn around time in the lab is usually 24 hours, plus the shipping time to get it to you. The collection of photos there is small but growing. If you see a photo at JimDoty.com that you would like to buy at JimDoty.Zenfolio.com, send me an e-mail and tell me which photo you are interested in. You can order prints in a variety of sizes. Some are in a standard aspect ratio (8x10, 11x14, etc.) and some in a long aspect ratio (8x12, 10x15, etc.) depending on the dimensions of the image. You can also get "gallery wrap" prints where the photo wraps around the edges of the hidden picture frame. Color prints are available on both Kodak E-surface and Kodak metallic paper. Metallic paper is a high gloss, high intensity paper that is best for photos with bold colors. If you want really bold colors, try a metallic print. When you check out, if you have the option to choose "Color Correction", choose NO. If you pick YES, the printer will adjust the colors, and the colors in your print may not be the same as in the image file I sent to Zenfolio.
Custom, Hand Printed, Fine Art Prints Some of the photos on this site are available for purchase as signed, hand printed, fine art prints. Photos are custom printed by me on Epson Archival Premium Luster Paper with archival inks using an Epson archival printer. I do not provide matting and framing options with custom prints. There can be slight variations in print size, based on the cropping of the original image. Prints come with a white border. For example, an 8x10 inch print would come on 8.5x11 inch paper and 12x18 inch print would come on 13x19 inch paper.
Shipping in the continental U.S. is included in the above prices. 8x10 prints come via insured U.S. mail. 10x14 and 12x18 inch prints come via insured, two-day FedEx. If you order more than one print in the same order, contact me for reduced prices. Rates to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada are different. For more information, write with the number and size of prints you are interested in. Delivery time is 3-4 weeks.
Event Pricing is different from the fine art prints which are available on this web site with prints beginning as low as $10 plus shipping and handling. If you were in a sporting or other kind of event that I filmed, write for event pricing information. Payment Payment can be by U.S. Postal Service Money Order, PayPal (if you don't have a PayPal account, you can use your credit card via PayPal without
setting up a PayPal account), or a personal check (but the check must clear the bank before the order is printed, processed, and shipped).
