The above photo was taken at a church convention in a large room with several thousand people around. The young woman is lit with on camera flash. It was originally taken for a religious periodical. I particularly like the way the photo came out except for the distracting person to the left and another persons
shirt and tie that you can faintly see to the upper right. To turn this photo into a portrait, it was a sinmple matter to use the CLONE tool in PHOTOSHOP to remove the distracting elements.
