Bluebonnets, Paintbrush and other Texas wildflowers |

One of the best places to be in April is the "Hill Country" of Texas for the Bluebonnets and other wildflowers. I wasn't able to be in the Hill
Country but I was in Waco in April. Fortunately, there were lots of wildflowers near Waco. In fact, these were taken in Waco along a four lane controlled access highway. One of our problems
(other than not getting run over) was the breeze caused by passing vehicles. |

If you have the opportunity to be in Texas in April, try and head for the area south of Waco. The closer to the Hill Country (north of San Antonio) the
better. |
